This classic book on the Icelandic language was written to aid the military, the businessman, the traveler, or any foreign resident in Iceland. This beautifully produced book..with its very useful glossary of 203 pages, a detailed and yet clear-cut grammar and the texts, each with an extra word-list, should. An ambitious student will find useful information, however, and there is a collection of Icelandic texts and a sizeable glossary. I ended up purchasing the set from ACMRS for $45.
