I've ordered a book called: Programming: Principles and Practice using C++ by Bjarne Stroustrup. Bjarne's new book: Programming: Principles and Practice Using C++. At 1200 pages, it will keep you busy for a while. Here is a really good introduction to C++, written by the original designer of C++. This is a review of the book “Programming Principles and Practice Using C++” by Bjarne Stroustrup. For example, my latest paper (IEEE Computer, January 2012) is about programming techniques for infrastructure and my latest book ("Programming: Principles and Practice Using C++") is focussed on technique and style. This book is Written by the inventor of C++, Programming Principles and Practice is not what you expect. The original release-date was slated for august last year, but it seems it was delayed till last month.
